Loved the book! It wasn't really about horses. It was more of a hallmark channel feel good book. I loved it!
This book was great. Not really what I thought when I read the name. I expected a story about the "horse", but instead it was about everyone who was connected to him. It was funny, serious and kept you reading.
Was drawn into the story from the very beginning. Heartwarming story with many funny moments!
Content good but choppy in parts. Needed some editing . Paragraphs written independently and stuck in rather than flowed together.
In case you were wondering, the horse isn't called Hustle. The horse is called A Horse Called Hustle. It's kind of like saying my name is That Girl Called Mara. Think how fantastic our lives would be if we named things this way? Somehow, I think redundancy would be the least of our problems.

Anyway, Jessa, poker extraordinaire, has arrived in Ocala, Florida. Due to some extreme planning of heights never reached before by man, she arrives at a gas station, where Cole has been working on his truck. They accidentally meet, she refuses his help to fix her broken oil line, and drives off only to find him later down the road with his broken down truck. Together they attempt to drive her leaking car to his horse farm, just as a hurricane starts to blow in, all of which has been brilliantly planned by Jessa's grandfather, who wants Cole's Triple Crown-winning horse. So the plan to get Cole to lose A Horse Called Hustle via poker is well under way.

Since setting up the premise has been accomplished, the story quickly turns to hilarity. It starts right around the point where Jessa's car promptly breaks down during the hurricane and leaves them deserted on some Florida highway. Jessa then reveals her cat named Stanley, who follows them determinedly through the woods as they attempt to walk through the hurricane on their way to Cole's farm.

They don't make it, and stumble into an abandoned barn, where they decide to pass the time by playing poker, all in hopes that Jessa will somehow get Cole to bet his Triple Crown winner, A Horse Called Hustle. That doesn't exactly happen, but she does get him to bet a "horse of her choice," and this is written out all nice and legal on a Taco Bell napkin.

After a rousing attempt to swing through trees and escape mad cows (all with a house cat in tow), Jessa and Cole settle into their lives as prankster miscreants. More hilarity ensues. As a horse book, it has little to no clue, but as a romance novel aimed toward young adults, it's a quick and fun read. Time well spent.
Well written and it moves right along.
Enjoyed the modern western feel of the book. Good light read, relaxing with out being boring. Author created good visuals.
